Coaching Corner

Dribble and take technique

Aim - To improve players ability to control the ball whilst running at speed and to improve communication.

Key Points

  1. 1. Ensure the players 1st touch is out of their feet and forwards in the direction they wish to be going in.
  2. 2. Lots of close touches when approaching team mate so to keep the ball under control for the 'take' to be successful.
